A massive thank you to all the riders who have supported our event, we have had a great response this year via the online entry and this system really helps us to get you all booked in on Sunday morning.

Riders please make sure you read the final instructions so you know exactly what you need to do and the format of the event as there will be two starting points to get everybody on course as quickly as possible, please follow all marshall's instructions.

please click read more to see the final instructions, this gives all details of the event and what you need to do when you arrive, an entry list will be posted on Thursday evening with numbers, numbers will be available to purchase on Sunday at signing on.

Entries close on Wednesday night and day entries carry a heavy surcharge unless you contact Rob Mcleod to pre arrange the entry, space is also starting to run out  !

Please give yourself plenty of time to get the event in plenty of time as we have some issues with the parking field that we are working hard to resolve, there may be a one way system in place to enter and exit the parking field, please follow any signs and obey any parking instruction

Thank you

A massive thank you to everyone who supported this years event.

  • The riders who all seemed to enjoy the day and format especially when the sun shone brightly for us, the top 3 riders were a lap clear of everyone else and clearly enjoyed the open and flowing course that gave a little bit of everything to the rider.
  • The club officials, Geraint Rogers for setting out a fantastic flowing course at this stunning venue, it was a pleasure to ride around in the late sun on Saturday evening.
  • All the Marshalls who volunteered their time to help set out the course, Marshall the event and pull the course in afterwards.
  • All the club helpers who without we simply could not run this or any event
  • Thank you to the very young Callum Mcleod for volunteering to be clerk of the course who unfortunately broke his leg a couple of weeks prior to the event, Callum still wanted to help and could be seen driving around in the farm vehicle, we hope he still wishes to step up into this role in the future.
  • A Special thank you to Steve Ireland and his WOR events team for stepping in at the last minute and providing the excellent timing service, we are still getting messages of "thanks to Micky for the support every lap" !!!
  • Thank you to Event fire and Rescue for the superb medical cover and we wish Aaron their only customer of the day a speedy recovery.

it was a fantastic club weekend with many people camping over on Saturday night, it really was great catching up with everyone, we will now work hard to provide you with a fantastic Brinks Enduro event on the 7th Aug, entries are now open via the ACU.

Please note there will be no late or day entries this year for the Brinks event

A Massive thank you from all of us at Manchester 17 Mcc for entering our Tong Rookie event, unfortunately we had to stop the event for safety reason and we hope the injured rider makes a speedy recovery, we also unfortunately had technical difficulties with the timing system and we had to revert to manual timing.

Thankfully the free practice carried on as planned with the harder routes and the feedback from riders has been fantastic.

Please note that we use a count down clock so the lap time shown is the amount of minutes counted down from the start of the event, we record every rider as they pass through lap scoring  so we can see the position of every rider even if passed through on the same minute.

We hope you really enjoyed the format of this event and we hope to see you at our 2nd Rookie event at Greenhall farm (Llansylin) on July 3rd which is a very open piece of land, if you would like something a bit more challenging and would like to ride with some of the best riders in the uk then please look out for our Brinks event on August 7th

A massive thank you to the Hoare family for the use of the fantastic venue, event fire and medical for the medical support and for the many Manchester 17 Mcc club members, family and friends who make these events possible.

i look forward to welcoming you back soon
