Paul Reynolds funeral was 30 April but due to Covid 19 lock down restrictions only a very short service for just a maximum of 10 people was allowed. Be sure that there will be a memorial do of some kind organised after the present restrictions are lifted for us all to celebrate his life. Details will be here and on the trials side of the web site when sorted. Mr P

Plenty of nice memories from this Peter Fleming video of the Brinks as a time card mud fest in glorious weather. Oh those less Health and Safety conscious days. When you have some time take a look https://public.fotki.com/MACC-MAN17-CNWTRIALS/enduro/pre-1990-brinks-enduro/.
There are loads of pictures as well from both Trials and Enduro's.
Enjoy free from Manchester 17.

I learnt from Pete Cunningham at Gordon Ruffley's funeral that Vernon had died on Saturday 21st September. His funeral takes place at Rowan Chapel, Stockport Crematorium on Tuesday 1st October 2019 at 10:45am.
One of the great characters of motorcycling in Cheshire, Vernon with his great oratorical skills and enthusiasm for all things motorcycling, despite his missing leg, has left many happy memories for us all.
He was deeply involved for many years with the 17's efforts to protect rights of way. His boundless enthusiasm for enduro made the Manchester 17 one of the few clubs actively running enduro events as well as supporting club riders in events right up to world level at the ISDE.
His voice in our sport will be sadly missed.

Sad news, Gordon Ruffley who many of us will remember as one of the founders of and hardest working supporters of the clubs Enduro efforts died last Friday 6th September 2019. Over the many years he was club treasurer and was also chairman as well as holding other positions supporting the clubs efforts in running enduro events as well as supporting club riders in Enduros. He also took part and was at one time a passenger to Jack Matthews sidecar antics.
Gordon had been ill with Parkinsons for a considerable time and had never fully recovered from the sad and sudden loss of his wife Brenda.
We'll miss you mate.
